Amicus Brief - Open Markets Filed to DC Circuit Court of Appeals Regarding AT&T/Time Warner Merger
WASHINGTON - On Monday, August 13, 2018, the Open Markets Institute filed a brief as amicus curiae in support of the U.S. government's appeal of the lower district court's decision allowing the merger.
"The Open Markets Institute files this brief to present the competitive harms from vertical mergers and explain the Clayton Act’s prohibition on corporate mergers, including vertical mergers, that pose a reasonable threat to competition."
