Gina Salerno

Director of Foundation Relations

Gina is a development professional with more than 10 years of experience in fundraising from government, corporate, and foundation sources ranging in size from the United Nations to small family foundations. During her career, she has raised more than $35 million for programs working on entrepreneurship, women’s health, education, and climate change research.

Prior to joining the Open Markets Institute, she worked Pacific Community Ventures. She has a Bachelor’s in History and Philosophy from Arcadia University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from American University. Originally from New England, she has lived in San Francisco, CA, London, England, and Athens, Greece, in addition to Washington, DC.
