Claire Lavin

Research Fellow, OMI Europe

 

Claire Lavin is a Research Fellow at the Open Markets Institute. She contributes to Open Markets' advocacy and research work in Europe. 

Claire deals with a range of EU competition policy issues with a particular focus on technology and Big Tech firms. Before joining Open Markets Institute, she worked as a French qualified antitrust lawyer in a US firm. During that time, she led merger and anticompetitive practices cases in various industries (retail, pharmaceutical, transport, energy, tech). She acted before EU Courts, the French competition authority and the European Commission.

Claire holds an LL.B in English and French Law from King's College London and Université Paris I Sorbonne. She also holds an LL.M from the College of Europe.
