Open Markets Chief Economist Brian Callaci testified at Part 4 of the Senate Judiciary hearings on Reviving Competition: 21st Century Antitrust Reforms and the American Worker.

Callaci testified in favor of Congress acting to make it harder for corporations to merge and abuse their dominant positions, ban coercive contracts like non-compete clauses, expand the antitrust labor exemption to independent contractors, and close the loopholes allowing corporations avoid labor and employment obligations by substituting restrictive contracts for employment relationships.
