On Thursday, November 1, Open Markets Institute Executive Director Barry Lynn testified at the Federal Trade Commission's Fifth Hearing in its "Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century" series at the Georgetown University Law Center. Lynn testified that the consumer welfare standard is to blame for the monopoly crisis the country faces today.
