Ezmeralda Makhamreh is the impact analyst at the Open Markets Institute. She forefronts the maintaining of OMI’s engagements and outreach through website updates and impact tracking. With this, she conducts qualitative research into the legal and commercial underpinnings of corporations and market structures that supports writing and policy projects.
She preceded her position with Open Markets as a policy intern dealing with editorial and additional research responsibilities. Over the span of her last two years at Open Markets, she has built foundational experience in the realm of antitrust law and corporate monopolies while applying methods to design and manage systems to track and evaluate organizational output and external impact.
She co-opted this internship with her attendance and recent graduation from The George Washington University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in international affairs. Furthermore, she was born and raised in the DMV area in Millersville, Md.
