Katherine Dill is the director of operations and special projects at Open Markets Institute. In this role, she handles the day-to-day operations of the organization, including finances, payroll, and hiring. She has been with the organization since it first became independent in 2018.

She has more than eight years of experience in operations roles. She was previously with The Cypress Group, an advocacy group based in Washington, D.C., as its director of operations. Before her time with Cypress, she was a logistics manager for Target.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 2013. At UNC-Chapel Hill, she majored in journalism and Hispanic studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in both fields. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling to new countries, and spending time with friends and family. In addition to Spanish, she is proficient in American Sign Language.
