Anita Jain is the editorial director at the Open Markets Institute. In this role, she assigns and edits a diverse slate of products, including policy papers, articles, op-eds, and newsletters, including the biweekly Corner newsletter, the country’s leading newsletter on monopoly power.
Anita is an editor, writer, and communications strategist with more than 20 years of experience spanning roles in the nonprofit world and in journalism. Before coming to the Open Markets Institute, Jain served as communications director at Center for Popular Democracy and as an editor at Carnegie Corporation of New York. She has worked as a foreign correspondent, writing for the Financial Times in New Delhi and for Dow Jones Newswires in London and Singapore. Her work has also appeared in the Washington Post, Guardian, Wall Street Journal, and New York magazine.
Jain has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and is completing a master’s in public policy from Columbia University.
